Woman Hurt in Houston Washateria Crash on Fondren Road
Houston, Texas (April 30, 2019) – A woman was hospitalized after an accident where a vehicle crashed into a washateria on Tuesday morning in southwest Houston, according to the HPD.
The wreck happened in the 9900 block of Fondren Road at the SGT Washateria around 11 a.m.
Police said the driver of a Lincoln sedan reversed deep into the laundromat. The crash sent debris flying inside the store and it struck a woman.
The woman sustained injuries to her leg and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. No other injuries were reported.
The accident is under investigation.
