62-Year-Old Michael Macy ID’d as Man Killed in Bellmead Pedestrian Crash on Bellmead Boulevard

Bellmead, Texas (April 30, 2019) – Police have identified the man who was struck and killed by a vehicle on Saturday night in Bellmead.

According to the Bellmead Police Department, Michael Macy, 62, of Bellmead, died in the crash that took place just after 8:40 p.m. April 27, in the 4700 block of Bellmead Drive.

Police said Macy was walking across the roadway when he was hit by an eastbound car.

Macy was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The 19-year-old Belton man who was driving the involved car stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.

The crash is under investigation.
