Longview Woman Bridget Scott Critically Hurt in Gregg County Pedestrian Crash on FM 2767

Gregg County, Texas (April 30, 2019) – A Longview woman was critically injured in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Sunday night in Gregg County, according to the Texas DPS.

The crash happened at about 8:23 p.m. April 28, on FM 2767 near SH 31.

DPS said  Bridget Lee Scott, 38, of Longview was walking across FM 2767 when a white pickup truck traveling northbound struck her.

Scott was taken to Trinity Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler with critical injuries.

The authorities said the vehicle involved, suspected to be a white Chevrolet, may have damage to its hood, windshield and front-end.

The crash is under investigation.
