San Angelo, Texas (April 10, 2019) – A woman and a child were injured in a two-vehicle rollover accident on Tuesday afternoon in San Angelo, according to police.

The wreck took place on S. Abe and W. Twohig streets on Tuesday, April 9.

Police said a woman driving an SUV was traveling southbound on S Abe Street when she tried to make a lane change and collided with a southbound Jeep. The impact caused the Jeep to roll over.

The woman and a child riding in the SUV went to Community Medical Center for observation. No other injuries were reported.

Police cited the SUV driver for unsafe lane change.
