Steven William Identified as Man Killed in Hutchinson Motorcycle Accident on State Highway 136 near Borger

Hutchinson, Texas (April 29, 2019) – 65-year-old Steven Williams has been identified as the motorcyclist who was killed in an accident involving a car on Sunday afternoon in Hutchinson.

The crash took place at about 12:45 p.m. April 28, on State Highway 136 near Borger.

Police said 20-year-old Jacie Huneycutt was driving a 2013 Chevrolet Sonic while Williams was riding a 2009 Harley. Williams lost control of the motorcycle as he was switching lanes and he fell onto the highway.

Huneycutt was checking on her phone and she ran Williams over, after which her vehicle left the roadway and struck a group of trees.

Williams was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other injuries were immediately reported.

The crash remains under investigation.
