3-Year-Old Girl Injured in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on Austin Highway

San Antonio, Texas (June 20, 2019) – A 3-year-old girl was struck and injured by a vehicle on Wednesday evening in Northeast San Antonio.

The crash occurred at about 5:20 p.m. June 19, in the 2100 block of Austin Highway, according to the San Antonio Fire Department.

Police said the girl broke out and walked into the roadway, where she was struck by a car.

The child was taken to a hospital with unknown injuries.

Police said the involved driver stayed at the scene and speed was not suspected to be a factor.

The identities of the child and the involved driver were not released.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
