Woman Killed in Dallas Pedestrian Accident on Julius Schepps Freeway

Dallas, Texas (June 10, 2019) – A pedestrian died in an accident involving a hit-and-run driver in Dallas early Saturday morning.

According to the Dallas police, the collision took place around 2:43 a.m. Saturday, June 8, in the 3500 block of Julius Schepps Freeway.

Investigators said a woman was driving a red 2015 Nissan Versa southbound on the freeway when she struck a female pedestrian.

The victim, whose identity was withheld, died at the site of the collision.

The driver left the scene after the incident but returned about two hours later and was taken into custody on suspicion of failure to stop and render aid.

Police are still working to find out what caused the crash.
