Man Injured in Burleson Pedestrian Crash on I-35W
Burleson, Texas (May 13, 2019) – A man was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle on Sunday evening in Burleson, according to the Burleson Police Department.
The crash occurred at about 6:15 p.m. May 12, on Interstate 35W near Bethesda Road.
Police said a driver pulled over to assist a stranded driver who was experiencing an engine problem. The Good Samaritan was struck by a passing vehicle as he was putting cones on the roadway.
The victim was airlifted to a hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
Police blocked all southbound lanes of Interstate 35W as the scene was examined and cleared.
The crash is under investigation.
