James Peter Lee ID’d as Man Killed in San Antonio Pedestrian Crash on San Pedro

San Antonio, Texas (May 31, 2019) – James Peter Lee, 63, has been identified as the man struck and killed by a car on Wednesday in San Antonio, as per a police report.

The crash took place on Wednesday, May 29, in the 7200 block of San Pedro.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Lee was walking across the roadway when a Toyota Camry struck him.  The dark conditions made it difficult for the driver to notice the pedestrian on the roadway, DPS said.

Lee was transported to the hospital with serious injuries, but he succumbed to his injuries later at the hospital.

No details about the driver involved were available.

The incident is still under investigation.
