One Injured in Fredericksburg Plane Crash on FM 2323 and Cherry Springs Road

Fredericksburg, Texas (May 30, 2019) – A pilot was injured after a plane crashed on Wednesday morning in Fredericksburg, as per a local news source.

The crash was reported at about 9:00 a.m. May 29, on FM 2323 and Cherry Springs Road.

The Federal Aviation Administration said the Vintage Boeing Stearman biplane lost engine power shortly after it departed from a private ranch airstrip about 14 miles northwest of Fredericksburg.

The Texas Department of Public Safety said the pilot, who was the only occupant of the plane, sustained minor injuries in the crash.

The crash is still under investigation.
