Officer, Woman, 1-Year-Old Injured in Houston Car Crash  on Richmond Avenue

Houston, Texas (May 31, 2019) – A Houston police officer, woman, and a child were hurt in an accident involving two vehicles on Thursday night in Houston, according to a police report.

The crash was reported just before midnight, May 30, in the 12100 block of Richmond Avenue.

The HPD said the officer was heading west in the 12100 block of Richmond and at the same time, the woman was on the way to West Houston Medical Center. The woman tried to make a left turn into the hospital parking lot and collided with the officer.

The impact of the crash caused both vehicles to strike trees.

Both drivers and a child in the woman’s vehicle were taken to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital with minor injuries.
