2 Hospitalized after Converse Traffic Accident on Walnut Avenue

Converse, Texas (May 31, 2019) – Two people were injured in a traffic accident on Thursday evening in Converse, according to a local news source.

The crash was reported at around 6:30 p.m. May 30, in the 1200 block of North Walnut Avenue.

According to the New Braunfels police, a 1994 Honda Accord and a 2019 Jeep Wrangler collided head-on on North Walnut Avenue.

A 47-year-old woman from Spring Branch, who was driving the Wrangler, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to an area hospital.

The driver of the Honda, a 34-year-old man from New Braunfels, suffered severe injuries and was taken to Hays County Hospital for treatment.

The incident is still under investigation.
