Two Injured in Houston Train Accident on Hogan and Main Streets

Houston, Texas (June 19, 2019) – Two people were hospitalized after being involved in a train collision on the North Side of downtown Houston, police said Wednesday.

The incident that happened in the area of Hogan and Main streets.

Police said a silver car was struck by a METRO light rail train.  Details on the events leading up to the crash were unavailable.

The report showed that the train sustained damage to its front while the silver car was heavily damaged.

The driver of the car and one passenger riding on the train were both taken to a hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
