1-Year-Old Boy Hurt in San Antonio Pedestrian Crash on Norfleet Street

San Antonio, Texas (June 19, 2019) – A young boy was hospitalized after being struck by a driver who fled the scene after the incident early Wednesday morning in San Antonio, according to the authorities.

The incident happened at about 2:15 a.m. in the 1400 block of Norfleet Street.

Police said a black Mazda struck a child who ran into the street. The driver failed to stop and render aid to the injured boy.

The victim was rushed to University Hospital with a broken leg.

The police are investigating the incident.
