29-Year-Old Man Hospitalized after Plainview Pedestrian Collision on West Fifth Street

Plainview, Texas (June 19, 2019) – A 29-year-old man was critically hurt in an accident where he was hit by a vehicle early Saturday morning in Plainview, according to the Plainview police.

The collision, which occurred at about 3:15 a.m. June 15, took place in the 600 block of West Fifth Street.

Police said the pedestrian was lying in the road when he was hit by a blue Audi.

The driver of the Audi failed to stop and render aid after the crash.

Police said the victim was rushed to University Medical Center in Lubbock with critical injuries.
