62-Year-Old Harold Garrett Dies in Longview Crash on Green Street

Longview, Texas (April 27, 2019) – A 62-year-old man was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Tuesday night in Longview, according to the Longview Police Department.

The incident happened at about 10:21 p.m. April 23, on Green Street.

Police said the victim, Harold Garrett, 62, of Longview, was found lying injured in the roadway after being hit by a vehicle.

The EMS transported Garrett to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

There were no details on how the accident but police are investigating the incident as a hit-and-run collision.
