Man Dies in Vickery Meadow Pedestrian Crash on Park Lane
Vickery Meadow, Texas (May 8, 2019) – An elderly man was struck and killed by a vehicle on Monday evening in Vickery Meadow, according to the Dallas Police Department.
The crash happened at about 8 p.m. May 6, on Park Lane and Hemlock Avenue.
Police said a 72-year-old man was walking across Park Lane outside of a crosswalk when a sedan struck him.
The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. His name was withheld pending notification of the next of the kin.
The driver of the sedan fled the scene after the incident.
Police are investigating the incident.
