1 Killed in Waller County Big Rig Crash on Interstate 10

Waller County, Texas (April 26, 2019) – A driver died after an 18-wheeler collided with the trailer of another big rig early Friday morning n Waller County.

According to the DPS, the wreck happened at around 2:30 a.m. on westbound Interstate 10 at Pederson.

DPS said a 59-year-old Nevada resident was driving an 18-wheeler on the highway when the trailer of another truck traveling in front came off. The Nevada driver slammed into the detached trailer.

The report showed that the driver died at the scene of the crash while his passenger, a 26-year-old woman, was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital and was said to be in stable condition.

The male driver and female passenger of the other truck were not injured.

The DPS is investigating the accident.
