Teen Driver Injured in Corrigan Car Crash on Highway 59 and Henry Road

Corrigan, Texas (April 26, 2019) – A teenage driver was hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash on Wednesday in Corrigan, according to the Corrigan Police Department.

The incident took place on Wednesday, April 24, at the intersection of Highway 59 and Henry Road. The exact time of the crash was not given.

Authorities said the teenager was driving a red Hyundai and failed to yield the right of way to a pickup truck at the intersection. The two vehicles collided, causing front-end damage to the Hyundai.

The driver of the Hyundai was severely injured and was flown to an area hospital for immediate medical treatment.

No other injuries were reported.

An investigation on the crash is underway.
