Narendrakumar Bhakta ID’d as Victim of Callahan Accident on State Highway 36 near Abilene
Callahan, Texas (April 26, 2019) – Police officers have identified the victim of a two-vehicle accident that occurred on Tuesday evening in Callahan as Narendrakumar Bhakta, 56, according to a local news source.
The crash was reported at about 4:50 p.m. April 23, on State Highway 36 southeast of Abilene.
Police said Bhakta was traveling east on State Highway 36 when his vehicle hydroplaned and crossed the center median. The vehicle collided with a big rig heading west along the highway.
Bhakta was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. The driver of the big rig suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
