Corey Harrison Rives ID’d as Rider Killed in East Travis County Motorcycle Collision on SH 130

Travis County, Texas (May 16, 2019) – The man who was killed in a fatal collision between a vehicle and a motorcycle on Monday night in East Travis County has been identified as Corey Harrison Rives, 34, of Manor, according to the Travis County Sheriff’s Office.

The incident occurred at about 11:42 p.m. May 13, in the 100 block of SH 130 near FM 969.

The authorities said Rives was riding a 1996 Harley Davidson FDX northbound on SH 130 when he rear-ended a utility being towed by a semi-truck.

Rives was pronounced deceased at the scene.

No other injuries were reported.

The collision remains under investigation.
