Two Hurt in Winona Motorcycle Collision on Highway 155 North and Jones Street

Winona, Texas (May 16, 2019) – Two people were injured in a collision between a vehicle and a motorcycle on Wednesday in Winona, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The wreck happened at the Highway 155 North and Jones Street intersection on Wednesday, May 15.

It’s unclear how the vehicles collided.

The DPS said the man who was riding the motorcycle was not wearing a helmet and was flown to a hospital for treatment.

The female passenger of the motorcycle, who was also not wearing a helmet, was transported to a local hospital by ambulance.

No other injuries were reported from the incident.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
