Fort Bend, Texas (April 22, 2019) – An 80-year-old man was killed in a bicycle accident involving a vehicle on Sunday afternoon in Fort Bend County, according to the deputies.

The crash happened at about 1:45 p.m. April 21, in the 20500 block of SH 36, just north of 1462.

According to the deputies,  Charles Raymond Turner, 80, was trying to make a U-turn when he was struck by an SUV.

Turner was killed in the crash.

The driver of the SUV stayed and the scene and contacted the authorities. Deputies said the driver cooperated with the investigators.

The crash remained under investigation.
