Kerrville, Texas (April 22, 2019) – Several people were killed when a plane crashed near an airport in Kerrville on Monday morning, according to the authorities.

The wreck happened just before 9 a.m. about six miles northwest of Kerrville Municipal Airport.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a twin-engine Beechcraft plane took off from the West Houston Airport earlier this morning and crashed near the Kerrville airport.

Six people were on board the plane at the time and they were all confirmed dead at the scene.

Details on what may have caused the wreck were unavailable.

The FAA and the NTSB are investigating the crash.
