8-Year-Old Arhya Mitchell Injured in Nederland Pedestrian Crash on 21st Street
Nederland, Texas (May 7, 2019) – An 8-year-old girl was struck and critically hurt by a vehicle on Monday afternoon in Nederland, according to a local news source.
The accident happened at about 4:30 p.m. May 6, on 21st Street near the Bulldog Stadium.
According to the news source, Arhya Mitchell, 8, of Nederland, was at the stadium watching a friend compete in a track race when she attempted to cross the street and was hit by a northbound silver SUV.
Mitchell was airlifted to a hospital in Houston and was listed in critical but stable condition.
