Robert Kammerdiener ID’d as Driver Killed in Cleburne Car Crash on Main Street near Ross Street

Cleburne, Texas (May 9, 2019) – Police officers have identified one of the drivers who was killed in a car accident on Monday evening in Cleburne as Robert Kammerdiener, 75.

The crash was reported at about 5:05 p.m. May 6, in the 600 block of North Main Street near Ross Street.

Cleburne police said a Chevrolet pickup, driven by Kammerdiener, was turning east onto Ross Street from Main Street when it collided with a Dodge Ram pickup truck driven by a 22-year-old Cleburne man.

Kammerdiener was transported to the hospital with grave injuries and he succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. A 67-year-old female passenger in the Chevrolet was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Dodge sustained minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
