One Injured in Montgomery County Plane Crash near FM 494 and Antique Lane

Montgomery County, Texas (May 9, 2019) – A pilot was injured after a plane crashed on Saturday in Montgomery County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The crash took place on Saturday, May 4, in the area of FM 494 and Antique Lane.

Police said a helicopter was traveling at 1500-feet above ground when it experienced an in-flight emergency. As a result of the emergency, the plane crashed into a church parking lot near FM 494 and Antique lane.

The pilot, who was the sole occupant of the plane at the time, was injured and transported to an area hospital for treatment.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
