Alexann Dillard Arrested in Austin Pedestrian Crash on Palm Way

Austin, Texas (May 9, 2019) – 34-year-old Alexann Dillard was arrested after a hit-and-run accident that left a female pedestrian seriously injured on Sunday evening in Austin, as per a local news source.

The crash was reported at about 4:00 p.m. May 5, in front of the Domain in the 3100 block of Palm Way.

The Austin-Travis County EMS said a Toyota, driven by Dillard, was traveling west along Palm Way when it struck a female pedestrian in the roadway. The impact of the crash caused the victim to fall onto another vehicle, which was traveling east, before eventually falling to the ground.

The victim was transported to an area hospital, where she was treated for severe injuries.

Dillard fled the scene of the crash but later returned after about 20 minutes. Dillard was arrested for failing to stop and render aid.

The crash remains under investigation.
