Houston, Texas (April 24, 2019) – A child was injured in a collision involving three vehicles early Monday morning in Houston, according to the HPD.

The wreck happened just after 5 a.m. on I-10 East near Normandy.

Police said three vehicles collided and at least one of them caught fire.

A child was rushed to the hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.

It’s unclear whether there were other persons hurt in the crash.

The collision caused a closure of eastbound lanes of I-10 East near Normandy.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
