Two Injured in San Antonio pedestrian Crash along UTSA Boulevard

San Antonio,  Texas (May 2, 2019) – Two women were hospitalized after being run over by a vehicle outside a South Side bar early Thursday morning.

According to the San Antonio police,  the incident happened at about 2:10 a.m. at The Well in the 5500 block of UTSA Boulevard.

Police said a driver was backing out of a parking space in the area when the vehicle struck a woman.  A second woman reportedly jumped onto the hood of the vehicle and was tossed to the ground as the driver sped away.

Both victims were transported to University Hospital with minor injuries.

The police are investigating the incident.
