Woman Dies in League City Car Crash on Main Street

League City, Texas (May 10, 2019) – A woman was killed and four other people injured when two vehicles collided on Wednesday night in League City, according to the League City police.

The incident, which was reported at about 9:15 p.m. May 8, took place in the 800 block of Main Street.

The police report indicates that a car was pulling out of the parking lot of a fast-food restaurant when it entered the roadway and was hit by a pickup truck going east on Main Street.

The woman driving the car was killed in the collision. She was only identified as a woman in her 60s.

The driver of the pickup and two passengers in the car were taken to hospitals for treatment.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
