One Injured in Brady Semi-Truck Crash on Highway 71 and FM 2309

Brady, Texas (May 1, 2019) – One person was hospitalized following a collision with a semi truck on Tuesday morning near Brady, according to a local news source.

The wreck happened at about 10 a.m. April 30, on Highway 71 and FM 2309.

According to the news source, a passenger vehicle collided head-on with the semi-truck.

The driver of the passenger vehicle was trapped inside the wreckage. The semi-truck was fully engulfed in flames but the driver was able to get out.

The driver of the passenger vehicle was extricated and transported to Heart of Texas hospital with incapacitating injuries.

No other injuries were reported.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
