Yuricel Penaloza Killed in Fatal Belton Pedestrian Crash on Interstate 35 near Tahuaya Road
Belton, Texas (June 28, 2019) – Police officers have identified the victim killed in a pedestrian accident on Sunday in Belton as Yuricel Penaloza, 34, according to a local news source.
The crash occurred on Sunday, June 23, on Interstate 35 near the exit for Tahuaya Road.
The Texas Department of Public Safety said Penaloza was walking along the interstate 35 when a gold 2004 Honda Accord struck her.
Penaloza suffered severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
The incident is still under investigation.
