20-Year-Old Robert Platt JR Killed in Burnet County Boat Accident on Lake Lyndon B. Johnson

Austin, Texas (June 28, 2019) – 20-year-old Robert  Platt Jr. was killed in a boat accident on Wednesday evening in Burnet County, according to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.

The incident occurred on Wednesday, June 26, at Lake Lyndon B. Johnson near Colorado’s arm.

Authorities said a Crownline Runabout was carrying nine occupants when it crashed for unknown reasons.

Platt Jr suffered fatal injuries in the accident and was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

The cause of the incident is still under investigation.
