40-Year-Old Woman Dies in Dallas Traffic Accident on I-35E

Dallas, Texas (May 13, 2019) – A woman was killed in a fatal traffic collision late Sunday night in the Stemmons Corridor area, according to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash occurred at about 11 p.m. May 12, on Interstate 35E at the Medical District Drive.

Deputies said a Nissan Xterra became disabled in the center lane of southbound I-35E and was hit by a GMC Sierra. A third vehicle was also involved in the collision.

The driver of the GMC was transported to Parkland Memorial Hospital, where she was later pronounced deceased.

Two children riding in the Nissan were taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

The crash is under investigation.
