Woman Killed in El Paso Pedestrian Collision on Airport Road

El Paso, Texas (April 15, 2019) – A woman pushing a metal cart was struck and killed by a driver who fled the scene after the incident in El Paso Saturday night.

The El paso police said the collision took place shortly before 10 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, in the 7000 block of Airport Road at Cassidy Road.

According to EPPD, the woman was in the roadway pushing the cart when a car struck her and left the scene. The vehicle was suspected to be a white Lincoln Town car.

The pedestrian, who was only identified as a woman in her 40’s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The El Paso police are conducting an investigation into the incident.
