Dumas, Texas (April 21, 2019) – A multi-vehicle collision sent three people to hospitals on Thursday in Dumas, according to the DPS.

The crash happened on U.S. 119 near Highway 287 on Thursday, April 18.

According to the DPS, the driver of a pickup truck that was westbound on FM 119 failed to yield the right of way at the intersection and collided with a passenger car heading north on U.S. 287.

That car was then hit by a second car that was traveling northbound.

All the drivers involved in the collision were taken to area hospitals for treatment of unknown injuries.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
