Shelbi Stephens Dies in Dallas Multi-Vehicle Crash on Dallas North Tollway

Dallas, Texas (April 14, 2019) – A woman was killed in a multi-vehicle collision early Saturday morning in Dallas, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The wreck happened on the Dallas North Tollway near the Maple Avenue overpass at around 2:20 a.m. April 13.

DPS said a Cadillac CTS was heading north in the southbound lanes of the tollway when it collided with a Chevrolet Impala and a Nissan Altima.

Shelbi Stephens, 23, was riding in the Nissan and was pronounced deceased at the scene of the collision.

The driver of the Cadillac and the four people riding in the Impala were all hospitalized at Parkland Hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the Impala was not seriously hurt in the collision.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
