Rider Injured in Port Arthur Bicycle Accident on Gulfway Drive near Ninth Avenue

Port Arthur, Texas (June 20, 2019) – A bicycle rider was injured in a collision with a vehicle in Port Arthur Wednesday evening, according to Port Arthur Police Department.

The collision happened at around 7 p.m. June 19, in the 3800 block of Gulfway Drive near Ninth Avenue.

A woman was riding a bike on a street when she pulled out into the roadway and was clipped by a vehicle.

The woman was transported to a hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.

The involved driver was unhurt and stayed at the scene.

The Port Arthur Police Department is investigating the incident.
