61-Year-Old Pedro Martinez Jr. Dies in Lubbock Car Crash at 50th and Avenue Q
Lubbock, Texas (April 20, 2019) – A 61-year-old man was killed in a crash between two vehicles on Friday afternoon in Lubbock, according to the Lubbock police.
The crash occurred shortly before 1 p.m. April 19, in the parking lot of the United Supermarkets at 50th and Avenue Q.
Police said two vehicles collided for unknown reasons.
One victim, identified as Pedro Martinez, Jr., 61, sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased
Two other patients were taken to the hospital with minor-to-moderate injuries.
The Lubbock Police Department is investigating to find out the cause of the crash.
