Nathan Subia Killed in Odessa Crash on Andrews Highway

Odessa, Texas (April 15, 2019) – 21-year-old Nathan Subia has been identified as the man who was killed in a traffic collision on Saturday night in Odessa, police said.

The crash was reported at about 7:00 p.m. April 13, on Andrews Highway and 100th Street.

The police said Subia was traveling northbound on Andrews Highway with 32-year-old Ernesto Sanchez as his passenger. John Hunt, 52, was traveling eastbound on 100th street when he ran the stop sign and was struck by the GMC truck driven by Subia.

Subia was taken to Medical Center hospital, where he later died from the injuries. Hunt suffered life-threatening injuries while Sanchez sustained non-life threatening injuries. They were both taken to the hospital for treatment.

The crash remains under investigation.
