Rider Dies in Grimes County Motorcycle Crash with Truck on SH 30

Carlos, Texas (April 11, 2019) – A man was killed in a collision between a motorcycle and a semi-truck on Wednesday evening near Carlos in Grimes County, the authorities said.

The wreck happened at about 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10, on SH 30 west of FM 244.

Police said a motorcyclist that was traveling on the shoulder of the road tried to make a U-turn an was hit by a semi-truck.

The rider died of their injuries at the scene.

There were no other injuries reported from the incident.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
