Man Dies in East Travis County Motorcycle Collision on SH 130

Travis County, Texas (May 14, 2019) – A fatal collision between a vehicle and a motorcycle left one person dead on Monday night in East Travis County, according to the Austin-Travis County EMS.

The incident occurred at about 11:42 p.m. May 13, in the 100 block of SH 130 near FM 969.

The ATCEMS reportedly attempted CPR on a victim but were unsuccessful. The victim, only identified as a man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The report did not indicate whether the victim was riding in the car or on the motorcycle.

No other injuries were reported.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
