Nacogdoches County, Texas (April 20, 2019) – A woman and a boy were injured in a collision between a vehicle and a train on Friday morning in Nacogdoches County, according to the DPS.

The crash took place on County Road 265 on Friday, April 19.

DPS said Latricia Session, 21, of Nacogdoches, was driving a car westbound on CR 265 when she failed to yield at the railroad crossing and was hit by a southbound Union Pacific train.

Session and a 12-year-old boy who was a passenger in her car, were both taken to a hospital for treatment of their injuries.

No other injuries were reported,.

The DPS is investigating the incident.
