55-Year-Old Keith Porter Dies in Burleson County Crash on FM 60

Burleson County, Texas (April 27, 2019) – A 55-year-old man was killed in a collision involving an 18-wheeler on Friday morning in Burleson County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The wreck happened on FM 60 near Lyons on April 26.

DPS said Keith Porter, 55, of Somerville, was operating a pickup truck that drifted across the centerline and collided with an 18-wheeler on FM 60.

Porter died at the site of the collision.

The medics treated the driver of the 18-wheeler at the scene.

The DPS is conducting an investigation into the incident.
