Juan Saucedo ID’d as Man Killed in Hale County Crash on US 70 near FM 1424

Hale County, Texas (June 1, 2019) – 36-year-old Juan Saucedo of Plainview, has been identified as the man who was killed in an accident involving two vehicles on Friday Morning in Hale County, according to the authorities.

The crash was reported at about 6:00 a.m. May 31, on US 70 near FM 1424.

Police said Saucedo was driving his vehicle along the westbound lane of US 70 when a northbound car entered the intersection near FM1424 on a red light causing the collision. The impact of the crash caused Saucedo’s car to overturn and ejected him.

Saucedo was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

The driver of the second vehicle was injured and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Authorities are investigating the crash.
