Joel Howell Killed in Three Rivers Two-Vehicle Crash on I-37
Three Rivers, Texas (April 12, 2019) – A two-vehicle collision left a 38-year-old driver dead early Wednesday morning near Three Rivers.
According to a police report, the crash happened on Interstate 37 just before 1 a.m. on Wednesday, April 10.
The report showed that Joel Evans Howell, 38, of Helotes was driving a car on the interstate when he crashed into a pickup that reversed into the highway after it had been parked along the shoulder of the highway.
Howell was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup was taken to Christus Spohn Hospital Beeville.
Police said the pickup driver was later arrested in connection with the collision.
