Jailon Murphy and Kendrick Edwards ID’d as Drivers Killed in Dallas Car Crash on Great Trinity Forest Way

Dallas, Texas (June 8, 2019) – Police officers have identified 23-year-old Jailon Murphy and Kendrick Edwards, 29, as the victims killed in a car accident on Thursday evening in Dallas, according to a local news source.

The crash was reported at around 4:30 p.m. June 6, on Great Trinity Forest.

According to the report, a Ford Crown Victoria, driven by Edwards, was traveling along the roadway when he engaged in a race in the westbound lanes.  The Ford clipped another, causing it to collide with a Dodge Charger driven by Murphy.

Murphy and Edwards were injured in the crash and rushed to the hospital. Sadly, they both succumbed to their injuries in the hospital.

No other injuries were reported in the crash.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
