Isaiah David Infante Killed in El Paso Pedestrian Crash on I-10 East
El Paso, Texas (April 16, 2019) – The pedestrian who was found dead after an apparent hit-and-run collision that occurred overnight Sunday in East El Paso has been identified as Isaiah David Infante, 18, according to the authorities.
The incident was reported at about 5 a.m. Sunday, April 14, on I-10 East near Corral Drive.
Police said Infante was trying to cross the highway when he was struck by a vehicle. Infante died at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle involved has been identified as 29-year-old Martin Medel. It’s unclear whether the driver was arrested.
The authorities are conducting an investigation into the incident.
