Rider Critically Hurt in Houston Bicycle Crash on Telephone Road
Houston, Texas (June 29, 2019) – A bicyclist was injured and hospitalized after a traffic accident on Friday night in Houston, according to a local news source.
The incident occurred at around 9:00 p.m. Friday, June 28, in the 2800 block of Telephone Road.
The Houston Police Department said a bicyclist was traveling down the roadway when they were run over by a box truck.
The rider was taken to Ben Taub Hospital with critical injuries.
The driver of the truck fled the scene after the incident.
The HPD is conducting an investigation into the crash.
